Getting Started 01 — Add Assets & Review Threats
We’ve published the first episode of our new tutorial series: Getting Started 01 — Add Assets & Review Threats. In just over three minutes, you’ll go from a fresh account to a clean, prioritized queue of vulnerabilities—without installing agents or juggling multiple tools.
What you’ll learn
- Create your account and sign in (2FA supported) — agentless, nothing to install.
- Build your watch list in My Components:
- Add components manually (Vendor, Product, Version, Node).
- Or bulk-add from clipboard (copy OS command, run, paste results).
- See matches to CVEs & known exploits for your components.
- Triage in My Threats using CVSS, EPSS, and KEV context.
- Work the status flow: New → Open → In progress → Completed → Archived.
- Move faster with Bulk Edit, Remarks, and Filters.
Why it matters
BaseFortify continuously monitors new CVEs and known exploits against the software you actually use. Each match is enriched with real-world context (EPSS likelihood, CISA KEV, and MITRE ATT&CK/CAPEC insights), so you can fix what matters first—without drowning in noise.
