AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?
This vulnerability is a memory leak in the Linux kernel related to the cxl driver. Specifically, in the error handling path of the function afu_allocate_irqs(), a bitmap allocated with bitmap_zalloc() is not properly freed with bitmap_free(), causing a memory leak.
How can this vulnerability impact me? :
The memory leak caused by this vulnerability can lead to increased memory usage and potentially degrade system performance or stability over time if the error path is triggered repeatedly.
