AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

This vulnerability occurs in Jenkins QMetry Test Management Plugin version 1.13 and earlier, where Qmetry Automation API Keys are stored unencrypted in job config.xml files on the Jenkins controller. Because these keys are not encrypted, users with Item/Extended Read permission or those who have access to the Jenkins controller file system can view these sensitive API keys.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

The vulnerability can lead to unauthorized disclosure of Qmetry Automation API Keys. If an attacker or unauthorized user gains access to these keys, they could potentially misuse them to interact with the QMetry Automation system, leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure within the testing environment.
