AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?
This vulnerability is a potential memory leak in the Linux kernel's qlcnic network driver. Specifically, if the allocation of virtual functions (vp) fails during the qlcnic_sriov_init() function, the previously allocated virtual functions are not properly freed, leading to a memory leak.
How can this vulnerability impact me? :
The impact of this vulnerability is a potential memory leak in the Linux kernel, which could lead to increased memory usage and possibly degrade system performance or stability over time if the issue occurs repeatedly.
