AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

This vulnerability is a stored HTML injection in Perfex CRM version 3.2.1. It occurs because the application does not properly validate user input sent via POST requests to the 'admin/leads/lead' endpoint, specifically in the 'name' and 'address' parameters. This allows an attacker to inject malicious HTML code that is stored and later rendered by the application.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

The impact of this vulnerability includes the potential for attackers to execute malicious HTML code within the application context. This can lead to issues such as defacement, phishing, or the execution of unwanted scripts that may affect users interacting with the CRM. Since it is a stored injection, the malicious content can persist and affect multiple users.
