AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

This vulnerability is a heap buffer overflow in the syna_cdev_ioctl_store_pid() function of syna_tcm2_sysfs.c. It causes an out of bounds write, which can be exploited locally to escalate privileges to system level without requiring user interaction.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

The vulnerability can allow an attacker with local access and system execution privileges to escalate their privileges further, potentially gaining full control over the affected system. This can lead to unauthorized access, data manipulation, or disruption of system operations.
