AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?
This vulnerability is a resource leak in the Linux kernel's PM / devfreq subsystem. Specifically, the function srcu_init_notifier_head() allocates resources that are not properly released because the corresponding srcu_cleanup_notifier_head() call is missing. This leads to a leak of allocated resources.
How can this vulnerability impact me? :
The impact of this vulnerability is a resource leak in the Linux kernel, which could lead to increased memory usage and potentially degrade system performance or stability over time if the leak accumulates.
