Executive Summary

This vulnerability occurs in Firefox versions prior to 144 on Android devices. When switching between apps using the card carousel, if the last screen used in Firefox was a password-related screen, the card image shown in the carousel appears as a black screen instead of showing the password edit screen as it did before Firefox 144.

Impact Analysis

The vulnerability causes the password-related screen to be replaced by a black screen in the Android app switcher carousel. This may affect user experience by hiding the password screen preview, but no further impact details are provided.

Mitigation Strategies

To mitigate this vulnerability, update Firefox to version 144 or later, as versions prior to 144 are affected.
