AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

This vulnerability is a cross-site scripting (XSS) issue in the web-based management interface of Cisco Catalyst Center. It occurs because the interface does not properly validate user input. An attacker can exploit this by tricking a user into clicking a specially crafted link, which then allows the attacker to run arbitrary script code within the user's browser session on the affected interface.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

If exploited, this vulnerability could allow an attacker to execute malicious scripts in the context of the affected web interface, potentially leading to unauthorized access to sensitive browser-based information or actions performed on behalf of the user. This could compromise the security of the management interface and the device it controls.
