Executive Summary

This vulnerability is a memory leak in the Linux kernel's RDMA hns_roce driver. Specifically, when the function hns_roce_mr_enable() fails during the execution of hns_roce_alloc_mr(), the memory key (mr_key) is not properly released, causing a memory leak.

Impact Analysis

The memory leak caused by this vulnerability can lead to increased memory usage over time, potentially degrading system performance or causing resource exhaustion in systems using the affected RDMA hns_roce driver.
