AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?
This vulnerability is a memory leak in the Linux kernel's xHCI driver related to the Debug Capability (DbC) feature. Specifically, if DbC is already in use, the allocated memory for the xhci_dbc structure is not freed properly before the function returns NULL, causing a memory leak.
How can this vulnerability impact me? :
The memory leak can lead to increased memory usage over time, potentially degrading system performance or causing resource exhaustion if the issue occurs repeatedly.
