AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?
This vulnerability in the Linux kernel occurs in the drm/ttm component, where a resource leak happens if moving the buffer object (bo) to system memory for swapout fails. Essentially, when the system tries to move this resource and encounters an error, it does not properly release or clean up the resource, causing a leak.
How can this vulnerability impact me? :
The resource leak caused by this vulnerability can lead to inefficient use of system memory or resources, potentially degrading system performance or stability over time if the leak accumulates.
