AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

This vulnerability involves the use of outdated and weak Message Authentication Code (MAC) algorithms in a device's SSH service. An attacker who can interact with the network traffic may exploit these weak algorithms to compromise the integrity of the SSH session. This means the attacker could potentially manipulate the data being transmitted during the SSH session.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

The impact of this vulnerability is that an attacker could manipulate the data transmitted over an SSH session if they can access the network traffic. Although the confidentiality of the data is not affected, the integrity is compromised, which means the data could be altered without detection. This could lead to unauthorized changes or actions being performed during the SSH session.

How does this vulnerability affect compliance with common standards and regulations (like GDPR, HIPAA)?:

I don't know

How can this vulnerability be detected on my network or system? Can you suggest some commands?
