The Simple Plyr plugin for WordPress has a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the 'poster' parameter of the 'plyr' shortcode. This vulnerability exists in all versions up to and including 0.0.1 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes.
Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this flaw to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever any user accesses the injected page.
