This vulnerability exists in Dell Avamar Server and Avamar Virtual Edition versions prior to 19.10 SP1 with CHF338912. It is an Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory, also known as a 'Path Traversal' vulnerability. A highly privileged attacker with remote access could exploit this flaw to delete arbitrary files.
