Executive Summary

This vulnerability exists in SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise where user-controlled inputs are not sufficiently encoded. This leads to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue, allowing an admin user to inject malicious JavaScript code into a website. When other users visit the compromised page, the injected script executes in their browsers.

Impact Analysis

The vulnerability can allow malicious scripts to run in the context of the affected website, potentially leading to low impact on the confidentiality and integrity of data. However, it does not affect the availability of the application. Since the attacker must have admin privileges to inject the script, the risk is somewhat limited but still significant.
