AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

This vulnerability in HCL Aftermarket DPC is caused by a failure to invalidate a user session when the password is changed. This means that an attacker who already has access to a session can continue to use that session even after the password has been changed, allowing them to maintain control over the account.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

The vulnerability can lead to an account takeover, where an attacker maintains access to an account despite the legitimate user changing the password. This can result in unauthorized access to sensitive information and potential misuse of the account.
