This vulnerability affects Mattermost versions 10.11.x up to and including 10.11.10. It occurs because the software fails to invalidate cached permalink preview data when a user loses access to a channel. As a result, the user can continue to view private channel content through previously cached permalink previews until the cache is reset or the user logs out and logs back in.
