AI Powered Q&A
How does this vulnerability affect compliance with common standards and regulations (like GDPR, HIPAA)?:

The vulnerability is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue that could lead to privilege escalation by allowing a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts. This could potentially result in unauthorized access or control over user accounts or sessions.

Such unauthorized access or control could lead to exposure or compromise of sensitive personal or protected health information, which may impact compliance with regulations like GDPR or HIPAA that require protection of such data.

However, specific impacts on compliance or mitigation measures are not detailed in the provided information.

This vulnerability is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) issue found in Adobe Connect versions 2025.3, 12.10 and earlier. It allows a low-privileged attacker to inject malicious scripts into a web page. For the attack to succeed, a victim must interact with a maliciously crafted URL or compromised web page. Exploiting this vulnerability can lead to privilege escalation, meaning the attacker could gain elevated access or control over the victim's account or session.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

The impact of this vulnerability includes the potential for an attacker to escalate their privileges by injecting malicious scripts.
