AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

The vulnerability affects Anviz CX2 Lite and CX7 devices, allowing unauthenticated firmware uploads. This means attackers can upload specially crafted firmware archives without needing to authenticate, which enables them to plant and execute malicious code on the device.

As a result, attackers can gain a reverse shell, giving them remote control over the affected device.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

This vulnerability can have severe impacts including complete compromise of the affected devices. Attackers can execute arbitrary code and gain remote access through a reverse shell, potentially leading to unauthorized control, data theft, disruption of device functionality, and further network compromise.
