AI Powered Q&A
Can you explain this vulnerability to me?

This vulnerability affects Concrete CMS version 9.5.0 and below. It allows unauthenticated users to access page metadata across every page that has a configured summary template. This means that private, draft, and restricted pages can be identified, and sensitive information such as the title, path, description, and author of these pages can be leaked without any authentication.

How can this vulnerability impact me? :

The impact of this vulnerability is that unauthorized individuals can discover the existence of private, draft, and restricted pages on a Concrete CMS site. They can also obtain metadata like titles, paths, descriptions, and author information of these pages. This could lead to information disclosure that might be used for further attacks or to gain insights into the site's structure and content that should remain confidential.

How does this vulnerability affect compliance with common standards and regulations (like GDPR, HIPAA)?:

The vulnerability in Concrete CMS 9.5.0 and below allows unauthenticated disclosure of page metadata, including private, draft, and restricted pages, along with title, path, description, and author information.

This leakage of potentially sensitive information could impact compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA, which require protection of private and restricted information from unauthorized access.

However, specific impacts on compliance are not detailed in the provided information.
