Executive Summary

This vulnerability exists in the PostWipeData function of the recovery_ui.cpp file. Due to a logic error in the code, data may persist even after a factory reset is performed.

As a result, some local information that should have been erased might still be accessible.

Exploitation does not require any additional execution privileges or user interaction.

Impact Analysis

The vulnerability can lead to local information disclosure, meaning sensitive data that was expected to be wiped during a factory reset could remain accessible on the device.

This could compromise user privacy and security if unauthorized individuals gain access to the device.
