Executive Summary

This vulnerability involves malicious HTML content being injected into the email address field of an order in the pretix system.

The injected HTML content is then displayed without proper sanitization on the confirmation page for individual tickets within that order.

Impact Analysis

Because the malicious HTML content is shown without sanitization, it could lead to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks when users view the confirmation page.

This could allow attackers to execute arbitrary scripts in the context of the victim's browser, potentially leading to session hijacking, data theft, or other malicious actions.
