Executive Summary

This vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel within the clk subsystem, specifically in the spacemit and ccu_mix components. It involves an inverted condition in the function ccu_mix_trigger_fc(), which causes the frequency change trigger to be skipped.

Because the frequency change trigger is skipped, the kernel can experience panics during CPU frequency scaling operations.

Impact Analysis

The impact of this vulnerability is that it can cause kernel panics during CPU frequency scaling. Kernel panics lead to system crashes, which can result in downtime, loss of data, and reduced system reliability.
