Executive Summary

This vulnerability is related to the Linux kernel, specifically involving the amlogic t7 system on chip (SOC). It is caused by missing reset operations which lead to a kernel null pointer dereference. Essentially, the kernel attempts to access a reset operation that is not defined, causing a crash or instability.

The issue has been fixed by adding the missing reset operations to prevent the null pointer dereference.

Impact Analysis

This vulnerability can cause the Linux kernel to crash or become unstable due to a null pointer dereference when reset operations are missing. This may lead to system downtime or unexpected behavior on devices using the affected amlogic t7 SOC.
