Such unauthorized super_admin access can compromise system integrity and availability, potentially allowing attackers to make critical changes or disrupt services.

Confidentiality is not directly affected by this vulnerability.

Mitigation Strategies

To mitigate this vulnerability, you should upgrade Capgo to version 12.128.2 or later, where the broken Row Level Security (RLS) policy in the org_users table has been fixed.

Since the vulnerability allows privilege escalation from admin to super_admin due to insufficient RLS enforcement, applying the patch will prevent unauthorized super_admin access and protect system security.

Executive Summary
