CWE ID Description
CWE-416 The product reuses or references memory after it has been freed. At some point afterward, the memory may be allocated again and saved in another pointer, while the original pointer references a location somewhere within the new allocation. Any operations using the original pointer are no longer valid because the memory "belongs" to the code that operates on the new pointer.

The vulnerability can lead to the application crashing when processing specially crafted PDF files with JavaScript. This crash can result in denial of service, potentially interrupting normal operations and causing loss of availability.

Executive Summary

This vulnerability occurs when an application opens a PDF file that contains JavaScript which resets form fields.
