Detection Guidance

Detection of CVE-2026-60423 requires checking for vulnerable versions of Oracle Unified Directory (12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.1.0). Inspect installed software versions using commands like 'ldapsearch -H ldap://<host>:<port> -s base -b "" supportedLDAPVersion' or 'opatch lsinventory' for Oracle products. Monitor logs for unusual LDAP access patterns or privilege escalation attempts.

Impact Analysis

If you use Oracle Unified Directory versions 12.2.1.4.0 or 14.1.2.1.0, an attacker could gain full control of your OUD system. This could lead to unauthorized access, data breaches, or disruption of services relying on OUD.
