Executive Summary

The ChamaWP WordPress plugin before version 1.0.13 has a vulnerability where user input is not properly validated before being passed to a PHP deserialization function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary PHP objects, which could lead to remote code execution if a suitable gadget chain exists in other installed code.

Detection Guidance

Check if the ChamaWP plugin version is below 1.0.13. Use commands like 'wp plugin list' in WordPress CLI or inspect the plugin files for version details. Look for unusual PHP deserialization functions in plugin code.
