IBM Langflow Graph Data Injection Vulnerability

Vulnerability report for CVE-2026-10547, including description, CVSS score, EPSS score, affected products, exploitability, helpful resources, and attack-flow context.

Publication date: 2026-08-05

Last updated on: 2026-08-05

Assigner: IBM Corporation

Description

IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.10.3 does not properly validate ownership in the deprecated POST /api/v1/build/{flow_id}/vertices endpoint, allowing an authenticated user to inject arbitrary graph data into a shared cache for any flow. This may result in cross-user cache pollution, unauthorized workflow execution, or denial of service.

Executive Summary

This vulnerability exists in IBM Langflow OSS versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.3 due to improper validation of ownership in a deprecated API endpoint. An authenticated user can inject arbitrary graph data into a shared cache for any flow, potentially causing cache pollution or unauthorized workflow execution.

Detection Guidance

To detect this vulnerability, check if your Langflow OSS instance is running versions 1.0.0 through 1.10.3. Inspect network logs for POST requests to the deprecated /api/v1/build/{flow_id}/vertices endpoint. Look for unauthorized graph data injections or cache pollution events.

Impact Analysis

This vulnerability may allow unauthorized users to execute workflows, corrupt shared caches, or disrupt services through denial of service. It requires authentication but could impact multi-user environments using shared Langflow instances.

Mitigation Strategies

Upgrade Langflow OSS to version 1.11.0 or newer immediately. Disable or restrict access to the deprecated POST /api/v1/build/{flow_id}/vertices endpoint if possible. Monitor for unusual workflow executions or cache anomalies.
