Executive Summary

NVIDIA Dynamo for Linux has a vulnerability where an attacker can trick the system into making unauthorized requests to internal or external servers by providing a specially crafted URL. This is known as server-side request forgery (SSRF). If exploited, it may allow the attacker to access sensitive information from the server.

Detection Guidance

Detecting SSRF vulnerabilities like CVE-2026-47615 typically involves monitoring network traffic for unusual requests or inspecting application logs for crafted URLs. Check if NVIDIA Dynamo for Linux versions 0 to v1.1.0 are running and inspect multimodal requests for suspicious URLs. Use network scanners to identify outbound requests to internal or unexpected external systems.

Impact Analysis

If you use NVIDIA Dynamo for Linux, an attacker could exploit this to access confidential data on your server, such as internal network resources or sensitive files. This could lead to data breaches, unauthorized access, or further attacks on your systems.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability could lead to unauthorized data exposure, which may violate compliance requirements like GDPR (data protection) or HIPAA (health information privacy). Organizations using affected versions may face legal penalties, fines, or reputational damage if exploited.

Mitigation Strategies

Immediately update NVIDIA Dynamo for Linux to the latest version beyond v1.1.0. If an update is unavailable, restrict network access to Dynamo, block suspicious URLs in firewall rules, and monitor for unusual outbound requests. Disable unnecessary multimodal features until patched.
