Executive Summary

This vulnerability in Apache InLong allows non-template responsible persons to view template information due to uncontrolled resource consumption. It affects versions from 2.0.0 to before 2.4.0.

Detection Guidance

Detection involves checking Apache InLong versions. Run: curl -s http://<inlong-server>/api/version | grep -i version to verify if the version is before 2.4.0. Inspect logs for unauthorized template access attempts.

Impact Analysis

An attacker with limited privileges could exploit this to access sensitive template data, potentially leading to information disclosure or further attacks.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability does not directly impact compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, or similar standards as it involves unauthorized access to template information rather than data breaches or privacy violations. However, if exploited, it could indirectly lead to secondary issues that may affect compliance depending on the system's configuration and data handling practices.
