Executive Summary

IBM Concert versions 1.0.0 through 3.0.0 have a directory traversal vulnerability. This allows a remote attacker to access files outside intended directories by sending a URL with 'dot dot' sequences like '/../'.

Impact Analysis

An attacker could view sensitive files on the system, potentially exposing confidential data such as configuration files, logs, or other restricted information.

Mitigation Strategies

Update IBM Concert to a version beyond 3.0.0 to address the directory traversal vulnerability. Ensure network access controls restrict unauthorized URL requests containing dot dot sequences (/../). Monitor system logs for suspicious file access patterns.
