CWE ID Description
CWE-89 The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.

Executive Summary

This is an SQL injection vulnerability in Dolusoft Software Technologies SOPLOG software. It allows attackers to manipulate SQL commands by injecting malicious input, potentially accessing or modifying database contents without proper authorization.

Detection Guidance

Detecting SQL injection vulnerabilities like CVE-2026-82307 typically involves testing input fields in SOPLOG for malicious SQL queries. Use tools like SQLmap to automate detection by sending crafted payloads to suspected endpoints. Manually, inspect HTTP requests for unusual parameters or error messages revealing database structure. Enable detailed logging in your web server and application to capture suspicious queries.

Impact Analysis

An attacker could exploit this to read, alter, or delete sensitive data in the database, execute unauthorized commands, or take control of the affected system. This could lead to data breaches, system compromise, or service disruption.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability could lead to non-compliance with GDPR and HIPAA due to unauthorized data access or exposure. GDPR requires protection of personal data, while HIPAA mandates safeguards for protected health information. Exploitation may result in legal penalties and reputational damage.

Mitigation Strategies

Immediately update SOPLOG to version 2026.9.4.1 or later to patch the vulnerability. If an update is unavailable, apply input validation and parameterized queries to all user inputs. Disable detailed error messages in production to avoid exposing database information. Implement a web application firewall to filter malicious SQL payloads.
