Executive Summary

This vulnerability is an OS command injection flaw in magicblack MacCMS10 version 2026.1000.4055. It exists in the template handler component, specifically in the file path /admin1.php/admin/template/index/path/.%40template%40default%40html%40label.html. An attacker can remotely manipulate this to execute arbitrary system commands on the server.

Detection Guidance

Check for unauthorized access to the /admin1.php/admin/template/index/path/.%40template%40default%40html%40label.html endpoint. Monitor logs for suspicious template file creation or execution attempts in the MacCMS10 backend.

This could lead to full system compromise, unauthorized data access, installation of malware, or disruption of services. The exploit is publicly available, increasing the risk of attacks.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability allows remote command injection via template manipulation, which could lead to unauthorized access, data exfiltration, or system compromise. Such breaches may violate GDPR's data protection requirements (e.g., Article 32 on security of processing) and HIPAA's safeguards for protected health information if exploited.

Mitigation Strategies

Immediately restrict access to the vulnerable endpoint by updating firewall rules or disabling the affected component. Review and remove any unauthorized template files in the backend. Apply patches or updates if provided by the vendor.
