CWE ID Description
CWE-89 The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.

Executive Summary

This vulnerability is a SQL Injection in the Flowring Agentflow 4.0 software before version 2025/08/08. It affects the /WebAgenda/SMBAjaxConfigProcess.do API endpoint where the 'id' parameter is not properly sanitized, allowing remote attackers to inject and execute arbitrary SQL commands.

Detection Guidance

To detect this SQL injection vulnerability in Flowring Agentflow 4.0, monitor HTTP requests to the /WebAgenda/SMBAjaxConfigProcess.do endpoint. Look for suspicious parameters, especially the 'id' parameter, containing SQL syntax like single quotes, semicolons, or SQL keywords (e.g., UNION, SELECT). Use network tools like Wireshark or tcpdump to capture traffic to this endpoint.

Impact Analysis

This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands, which could lead to unauthorized data access, data manipulation, or complete database compromise. Attackers might steal, modify, or delete sensitive information stored in the database.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability could lead to non-compliance with GDPR and HIPAA by exposing sensitive personal or health data. GDPR requires protection of personal data, while HIPAA mandates safeguards for protected health information. A breach could result in legal penalties and reputational damage.

Mitigation Strategies

Immediately update Flowring Agentflow to version 2025/08/08 or later to patch the vulnerability. If an update is unavailable, restrict access to the /WebAgenda/SMBAjaxConfigProcess.do endpoint via firewall rules. Implement input validation to sanitize the 'id' parameter, blocking special characters. Consider disabling the endpoint if not essential.
