Executive Summary

HUIZHI ChargeOS cloud through version 3.0.9 has a missing authorization vulnerability in the hcp-mp PayController.xcxRecharge endpoint. This flaw allows attackers to modify any member's wallet balance without making an actual payment. By sending requests with arbitrary amount and userId parameters, attackers can credit or reduce balances and use charging services without cost.

Detection Guidance

To detect this vulnerability, monitor network traffic for unusual requests to the hcp-mp PayController.xcxRecharge endpoint. Check for repeated requests with arbitrary amount and userId parameters. Inspect server logs for unauthorized balance modifications or free service consumption.
