CWE ID Description
CWE-89 The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.

Executive Summary

This vulnerability is a SQL Injection flaw in the WebCTI service for Slican IPx telephone exchanges. It exists in the /webcti/admin_json.php endpoint due to improper input neutralization. An authenticated attacker can exploit this to execute SQL Injection attacks.

Detection Guidance

To detect SQL injection vulnerabilities in the WebCTI service, monitor HTTP requests to /webcti/admin_json.php for unusual SQL syntax patterns. Check logs for excessive query execution times or errors. Use tools like SQLMap to test for injection points if authorized. Ensure input validation and error handling are properly configured.
