Description

Dromara Skyeye through commit 65d3ddcede70 contains an sql injection vulnerability that allows authenticated low-privileged users to inject SQL via the keyword parameter in the queryErpOrderItem MyBatis statement using raw ${} substitution. Attackers can send crafted keyword values to the queryWarehousingDetails or queryOutgoingDetails endpoints to extract database data, including other tenants' data, using boolean, UNION, error or time-based techniques.

CWE ID Description
CWE-89 The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.

Executive Summary

This is a SQL injection vulnerability in Dromara Skyeye where authenticated low-privileged users can inject SQL commands via the keyword parameter in MyBatis statements. The flaw occurs because user input is directly interpolated into SQL queries using ${} substitution instead of safe parameterized binding. Attackers can manipulate queries to access sensitive data, including other tenants' information, using techniques like boolean-based, UNION-based, error-based, or time-based attacks.

Detection Guidance

To detect this SQL injection vulnerability, inspect MyBatis mapper files like StatisticsMapper.xml for unsafe ${} parameter substitutions in SQL queries. Check endpoints like /post/StatisticsController/queryWarehousingDetails or /post/StatisticsController/queryOutgoingDetails for keyword parameter usage. Monitor logs for suspicious SQL error messages or unusual query patterns.

Impact Analysis

If you use Dromara Skyeye with the vulnerable commit, an attacker with low privileges could extract sensitive data from your database, including information belonging to other tenants. They could also manipulate queries to retrieve unauthorized data or perform database operations. The impact includes data breaches, unauthorized access, and potential system compromise depending on database permissions.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability likely violates GDPR and HIPAA requirements for data protection and access controls. GDPR mandates strict data access controls and breach notification, while HIPAA requires safeguards to protect sensitive health information. The flaw enables unauthorized data access across tenants, creating significant compliance risks including potential fines and legal consequences for failing to protect sensitive data.

Mitigation Strategies

Replace unsafe ${keyword} substitutions with parameterized bindings like CONCAT('%', #{keyword}, '%') in mapper XML files. Implement strict input validation for the keyword parameter. Ensure the ERP database account has least privilege access. Audit all ${} usages in mapper files and update affected endpoints.
