Executive Summary

CVE-2026-111460 is a hard-coded cryptographic key vulnerability in the OnCell G3150A-LTE Series. It allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to obtain shared cryptographic key material and impersonate affected devices that have not regenerated their keys. This compromises the confidentiality and integrity of management communications.

Detection Guidance

Detecting this vulnerability requires checking for hard-coded cryptographic keys in the OnCell G3150A-LTE Series firmware. Inspect device configurations for default or shared keys. Use network scanning tools to identify affected devices by checking firmware versions and manufacturer details.

Impact Analysis

An attacker could intercept or alter management communications, leading to unauthorized access or control of the device. Since the product is end-of-life and all firmware versions are affected, mitigation requires resetting the device to regenerate cryptographic keys.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access or data breaches, violating confidentiality and integrity requirements in GDPR and HIPAA. Non-compliance risks include legal penalties and reputational damage due to compromised management communications.

Mitigation Strategies

Reset the affected device to regenerate the device certificate and cryptographic key material. Ensure all management communications are secured after the reset. Since the product is end-of-life, consider replacing it with a supported alternative.
