Executive Summary

CVE-2026-112286 is an Insecure Direct Object Reference (IDOR) vulnerability in Krayin CRM versions before 2.2.7. It allows authenticated users with scope restrictions to bypass per-user data checks and access other users' quotes by exploiting the Quote Search and Lead-Products endpoints. Attackers can retrieve sensitive information such as quote addresses, totals, contact details, and product pricing belonging to any user or lead.

Detection Guidance

To detect this IDOR vulnerability in Krayin CRM, monitor network traffic for unauthorized access to the Quote Search and Lead-Products endpoints. Check logs for requests to /api/quotes/search or /api/lead-products that return sensitive data like addresses, totals, or contact details not belonging to the authenticated user. Use tools like Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP to intercept and inspect API responses for improper data exposure.

Impact Analysis

This vulnerability allows unauthorized users to access sensitive data including quote addresses, contact details, product pricing, and totals belonging to other users or leads. This could lead to data breaches, financial loss, or reputational damage depending on the information exposed.

Compliance Impact

This vulnerability likely violates compliance requirements for GDPR and HIPAA due to unauthorized access to personal and sensitive data. GDPR requires protection of personal data, while HIPAA mandates safeguards for protected health information. A breach could result in legal penalties and loss of trust.

Mitigation Strategies

Immediately upgrade Krayin CRM to version 2.2.7 or later to patch the vulnerability. If upgrading is not possible, restrict access to the Quote Search and Lead-Products endpoints via firewall rules or API gateways. Implement strict authorization checks in custom code to validate user ownership of data before returning responses. Review and audit all quote and lead data access logs for suspicious activity.
