Description

A flaw has been found in pig-mesh pig up to 4.1.0. This impacts the function orderItem.getColumn of the file pig-common/pig-common-data/src/main/java/com/pig4cloud/pig/common/data/resolver/SqlFilterArgumentResolver.java. Executing a manipulation of the argument ascs/descs can lead to sql injection. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 4.1.1 will fix this issue. This patch is called 9b6311161e346d7626c81d993044072fed2dca07. It is suggested to upgrade the affected component. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.

CWE ID Description
CWE-74 The product constructs all or part of a command, data structure, or record using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify how it is parsed or interpreted when it is sent to a downstream component.
CWE-89 The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.

Executive Summary

CVE-2026-115997 is a SQL injection vulnerability in Pig4Cloud, a Java-based enterprise development platform. The flaw exists in how the framework handles pagination sort parameters named 'ascs' and 'descs'. These parameters are parsed by the SqlFilterArgumentResolver and passed directly into MyBatis-Plus OrderItem objects, which are then concatenated into SQL ORDER BY clauses without proper escaping. The existing protection mechanism, a weak regex blacklist, can be bypassed using SQL expressions like CASE statements, allowing attackers to inject malicious SQL code.

Detection Guidance

To detect this vulnerability, inspect HTTP requests to Pig4Cloud endpoints ending in /page for ascs or descs parameters containing SQL expressions like CASE, WHEN, or functions. Check application logs for raw SQL concatenation in ORDER BY clauses. Use tools like Burp Suite to intercept and analyze requests for malicious payloads.

Impact Analysis

This vulnerability allows any authenticated user, including low-privileged ones, to read arbitrary data from the database. Attackers can extract sensitive information such as user passwords, OAuth2 client secrets, database version, current user details, and schema information. The issue affects all paginated endpoints ending in '/page' due to the framework-level nature of the parameters.

Mitigation Strategies

Upgrade to Pig4Cloud v4.1.1 or apply the patch 9b6311161e346d7626c81d993044072fed2dca07. Temporarily restrict access to /page endpoints or implement a web application firewall to block suspicious ascs/descs parameters. Review and validate all sorting fields in your application code.
