It allows authenticated attackers with custom-level access or higher to inject malicious scripts via Custom Column User Meta Profile Fields. The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in versions up to 2.4.5.

Detection Guidance

Check WordPress plugins for the Import and export users and customers plugin version 2.4.5 or lower. Inspect user meta profile fields for unsanitized input that may contain malicious scripts. Review server logs for unusual script execution patterns in WordPress pages.
