Executive Summary

This vulnerability is an information disclosure flaw in FUXA version 1.3.2-2809. It allows unauthenticated attackers to access the /nodered/fuxa/scripts endpoint and retrieve names and identifiers of all configured scripts on the system. The issue occurs because the endpoint fetches script metadata without proper authorization checks, despite requiring initial authentication.

Detection Guidance

Check if Node-RED integration is enabled in FUXA. Test the /nodered/fuxa/scripts endpoint by sending an unauthenticated HTTP GET request to see if it leaks script names and identifiers. Example: curl -v http://<target-ip>/nodered/fuxa/scripts

Verify FUXA version. If running 1.3.2-2808 or earlier, the system is vulnerable. Upgrade to 1.3.3 or later to mitigate.

Impact Analysis

An attacker could exploit this to gather sensitive information about configured scripts, potentially aiding further attacks. This includes script names and identifiers which might be used to chain with other vulnerabilities like TALOS-2026-2417, which requires knowledge of privileged script details.

Mitigation Strategies

Disable Node-RED integration in FUXA unless absolutely necessary. Update FUXA to version 1.3.3 or later to apply authorization fixes.
