CWE ID Description
CWE-89 The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data.

To detect this vulnerability, check if the SaveTo Wishlist Lite WordPress plugin is installed and if its version is prior to 1.1.5. You can verify the version via the WordPress admin panel or by inspecting the plugin files. No specific commands are provided in the context, but monitoring for unusual SQL queries or database access patterns may help.

Impact Analysis

This vulnerability allows attackers to access sensitive data stored in your WordPress database, such as user credentials, personal information, or other confidential data. Since it requires no authentication, any unpatched website using the vulnerable plugin version is at risk of data theft or further compromise.
