Description
Description
Dolibarr is an open-source enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management application. Prior to 22.0.5 and 23.0.1, there is a SQL injection vulnerability in the Third Party company update functionality. The application concatenates the Β localtax1_valueΒ and Β localtax2_valueΒ properties into an SQL UPDATE statement without numeric conversion or other appropriate sanitization. An authenticated user with Third Party create or edit permission can submit crafted Β lt1Β or Β lt2Β POST parameters to read sensitive database information, including password hashes, API keys, and business data, or modify third-party records. This issue is fixed in versions 22.0.5 and 23.0.2.

Exploitability
| CWE ID | Description |
|---|---|
| CWE-89 | The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Without sufficient removal or quoting of SQL syntax in user-controllable inputs, the generated SQL query can cause those inputs to be interpreted as SQL instead of ordinary user data. |
